LOUISBURG – Zona Norris Tant, 86, of Louisburg, died Monday night, June 9, 2014 at Louisburg Nursing Center. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday. June 13, at the Bunn Chapel Church of God of Prophecy, 597 M.C. Wilder Road, Louisburg. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Essie Grissom Currin. She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Tant.

Surviving: sons, Freddie (Faye) Tant of Rolesville, Johnny (Portia) Tant of Oxford, Jimmy (Barbara) Tant of Louisburg; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bunn Chapel Church of God of Prophecy, 597 M.C. Wilder Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
