LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James Edward Smith, 61, who died Monday, July 7, 2014, will be held Tuesday, July 15, at 1 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Crews.

Surviving: brothers, Willie Smith Jr. of Binghamton, N.Y., Bobby L. Smith of Smithfield, and Freddie Smith of the home.
