LOUISBURG – Omega Jones Strickland, 87, died Monday afternoon, July 14, 2014. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the May family cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Redford and Lillian May Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.G. Strickland; daughter, Betty Lou Perry; brother, Marion Jones.

Surviving: sons Willie (Gwen) Strickland of Clayton, Billy (Rhonda) Strickland of Zebulon; brother Leon “Buddy” (Dorothy) Jones of Rolesville; and two nieces.

The family will receive friends 6 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
