FRANKLINTON --Herman Lee Harris, 81, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 11, at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

He was the son of the late Burt Harris and Fonza Bailey Harris. He was retired from Burlington Industries of Raleigh. He was also employed by the Town of Franklinton and worked at Cricket Hollow Childcare of Youngsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Teasley Harris.

Surviving: daughters, Doris J. Harris of the home, Judy Harris of Franklinton and Felicia C. Harris of Atlanta, Ga.; sons, David Teasley Harris (Robin) of High Point and Toney Harris of the home; sister, Dorothy House (William) of Richmond Hill, N. Y.; brother, Billy Harris (Pansey) of Mount Vernon, N. Y.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
