JAMES F. BELL, IV


FRANKLINTON --James Franklin Bell IV, 26, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 in Dudley. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 22, at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Jeanette Pender officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He was born to Vanessa and James Franklin Bell III in Durham. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in Aberdeen, Md.. and later attended Elizabeth City State University. He spent his childhood as an "Army Brat," traveling and living in Germany, Alaska, Hawaii and different states in the U.S. He was an artist and enjoyed music. He and his best friend made and sold their own music CDs.

Surviving: son, James Franklin Bell V; parents, James Franklin Bell III and Vanessa of the home; sister, Nikita Dawn Bell of Fort Bragg; maternal grandparents, Fred and Betty Lawrence of Franklinton; paternal grandmother, Betty J. Bell of Dudley; five aunts and one uncle.
