FRANKLINTON --Larry Donnell Taylor, 64, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Thaddeus Moore officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He was the son Beulah Morgan and Frank Morgan (stepfather). He was born in Granville County and received his education in the Granville County Public School System.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brodie; and two brothers, James Morgan and Frank Morgan Jr.

Surviving: daughters, Denise and Christine Taylor, both of Franklinton, and Bronzella Mallory (Paul) of Creedmoor; son, Larry Taylor of Oxford; mother and stepfather, Beulah and Frank Morgan of Creedmoor; sisters, Eyvone and Ann Morgan, both of Franklinton, and Patricia Morgan of Creedmoor; brothers, Robert Ed Morgan (Earlene) and Johnny Morgan, both of Franklinton, and Tommy Morgan of Creedmoor; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
