LOUISBURG -- Ricky Wayne Shearin, 62, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at his home. Memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Saint's Delight Baptist Church.

He was born to the late Harry Norman and Margie Joyner Shearin. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Surviving: wife, Vicki Lewis; sons, Darren Shearin (Alicia), Kevin Shearin (Hope), Geoffrey Appleford (Amy), Gregory Appleford (Victoria), Danny Shearin and William Shearin; brothers, Phillip Shearin (Tena) and Tim Shearin (Alicia); and three grandchildren.
