HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Evelyn "Jean" Silver, 77, who died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Derral Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Burges-Lynch cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Phyllis Silver of Raleigh, Barbara Alston (Larry) of Louisburg and Pattie Silver of Rocky Mount; sisters, Melvin Lee of Hollister, Linda Silver of Maryland, and Ernestine Richardson of Hollister; brother, Robert Silver of Landover, Md.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 7 p.m.
