MABLE F. HOYLE


FRANKLINTON - Mable Franklin Hoyle, 85, died at her home on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Vance County and was a devoted member of Unity Baptist Church in Youngsville.

Surviving: her twin sister, Mattie Hayes of Durham; children, Ann Duncan of Henderson, Ruth Garver of Garner, Clifton Hoyle (Judy) of Wake Forest, Carolyn Pernell of Wake Forest, and Rachel Shelton (Lee) of Louisburg; 19 grandchildren/step-grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren/step-great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren/step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Franklin, Benjamin Franklin, Herman Franklin, Furman Franklin, Pete Franklin, George Franklin, Jesse Franklin, Lila Newton, and Virgie Blackmon; her children, Edith Ayscue, and John Hoyle; and by three of her grandchildren.
