LOUISBURG - Archie Lee Burnette, 80, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, 2015. A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 31, at Mountain Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daren Smart officiating. Burial followed in the Burnette family cemetery.

Archie was a son of the late John and Susie Burnette. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, James Thomas, Phillip, and Randy Burnette.

Surviving: sisters, Kathleen (Ronnie) Roy of Benson, Jennie Griffin of Smithfield; brother, Furman Burnette of Youngsville; many nieces and nephews.
