NASHVILLE -- Graveside services for Jasper P. "Red" Evans, 63, who died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery, with the Rev. Joseph Speight officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: sons, Cory Jasper Evans of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Jasper Leon Evans Sr. of Ellerbe; sisters, Bobbie Jean Lewis of Castalia and Doris E. Hales of Rocky Mount; brothers, Thurston Evans of Raleigh, James Evans and David Evans, both of Rocky Mount; and three grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 3 to 7 p.m.
