NORTH PORT, Fla. - Charles H. Lloyd, 87, died in Port Charlotte, Fla., on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. Services were private.

He was born in the Royal Community in Franklin County to Jimmie Lloyd and Anne Horton Lloyd. He was the plant manager for ITT-Alcatel in Raleigh, retiring in 1990 after 28 years of service.

Surviving: daughter, Kym (Dan) Dawson of North Port, Fla.; sister, Anne Perkinson of the Royal Community (Franklin County); brother, Ned (Jean) Lloyd of Louisburg; one granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie T. Lloyd.
