LOUISBURG - Miriam Medlin Dupree, 76, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 in Louisburg. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, from Lancaster Funeral Chapel in Louisburg. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Surviving: husband, Harry N. Dupree; son, Dale H. (Dana) Finch of Youngsville; stepdaughter, Julia Raymond of Louisburg; stepson, Harry N. Dupree II of Louisburg; sisters, Blanche Chappel of Butner, Jonnie Lippard of Concord and Closs Ann Pulliam of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 Monday at Lancaster Funerals and Cremations in Louisburg.
