LOUISBURG-Daniel James Groves, 38, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at Wake Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of James Bruce Groves Jr. of Castalia and Linda Sanders of Wadesboro. He was formerly employed with Americal in Henderson.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Susan Armstrong of Wadesboro and Kimberly Horton of Louisburg; three aunts; and six nephews.
