NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - Funeral services for Della D. Silver, 75, formerly of Hollister, who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, were held on Wednesday, March 4 at White Rock Baptist Church and was officiated by the Rev. Alonzo West.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Silver was survived by three sons, Benjamin R. Solomon of Dallas, Reginald Solomon (Renal) of Stafford, Va., and Steve Solomon of Newport News; one sister, Louise Spruill of Hollister; one brother, Robert Davis (Gerri) of Cambria Heights, NY., eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 3, at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
