LOUISBURG - Loree May Ransdell, 84, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, at 3 p.m. at Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Casey Luther officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born to the late John May. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Ransdell, Sr.; her daughter, Constance Marie Ransdell; and one granddaughter.

Surviving: daughter, Mary R. Dickerson (Russell) of Louisburg; sons, Danny Parrish Sr., of Freemont, Neb., Joseph John Ransdell Jr (Pam), Steve Ransdell (Cheryl) all of Louisburg; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.
