LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Velbert Perry, 76, who died Thursday, April 23, 2015, will be held Thursday, April 30, at 1 p.m. at Perry's Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Emma L. Perry of the home; daughters, Angela Aikens (Timothy) of Augusta, Ga., and Tabitha Taylor (Enrico) of Raleigh; sons, Velbert Perry Jr. (Flor) of Tarrytown, N. Y., Orlando Perry (Rosalie) of Brooklyn, N. Y., and Darius Perry (Sarah) of Hampton, Va.; sisters, Annie Hobgood and Linda Long (Leslie), all of Louisburg; brothers, Frank Perry (Annie Mae) and Roger Perry (Yvonne), all of Louisburg; and seven grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, April 29, from 3 to 7 p.m.
