WARRENTON-Funeral services for Almetra Perry Sumler, 89, who died Monday, June 1, 2015, will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Ambassadors For Christ Ministries in Louisburg, with Bishop Nathan Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion AFC Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Angelean Elliott (Lonnie) of Bailey; son, John Sumler of Wilson; sisters, Gertie Evans, Savannah Bolton, and Lucy Alston (Willie), all of Warrenton, Marion Davis Patterson of Durham and Hazel Blount (Larry) of Roanoke Rapids; brothers, Geanie Perry (Ruth) of Warrenton, Julius Perry (Lela) of Rocky Mount, Ronald Perry of Newark, N. J., James Perry of Henderson and Michael Perry of Cary; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Ambassadors For Christ in Louisburg on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
