YOUNGSVILLE - Mittie Davis Peters, 74, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at Duke Medical Center. A memorial will be held Monday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at Franklinton Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Averette and the Rev. Greg Runner officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. at Rondo Memorial Park in Texarkana, Ark.

She was born to the late Guy Thomas and Minnie Reynolds Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Peters.

Surviving: her husband, Bobby Wayne Peters; daughters, Minnie Ruth Shirey (Richard) and Bobbie Horton (Ricky), both of Franklinton; sisters, Alice Jewell of Texarkana, Ark., and Linda Cornett of Stephenville, Tex.; brother, Ollie Ray Davis of Texarkana, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
