WILLOW SPRING - Dorothy Lee Jones Parrish, 81, died Monday, April 24, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 26) in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, with the Rev. Carol McCartney officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Snow Hill, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lucy Heath Jones. She worked for many years at Arkless Manufacturing Co. until her retirement in 1998.

Surviving: daughters, Mary Catherine Parrish, Crickett Martin and Mollie Parrish Gregory,
all of Clendenin, W. Va.; sons, Lavon Parrish of Poway, Calif., Julian “Mitch” Parrish of Willow Spring, and Lonnie Parrish of Marathon, Fla.; sisters, Anne Lyles of Wendell, Mae Hathaway of Lynn, Mass., Cat Spence of Raleigh, and Alice Edwards of Youngsville; brother, James Jones of Middlesex; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lavelle Parrish; brother, Frankie Jones; and one grandson.
