YOUNGSVILLE - Funeral services for William Lee "Byrd" Teasley, 72, who died Sunday, July 19, 2015, will be held Friday, July 24, at 3 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiating.

Surviving: wife, Sarah Teasley of the home; daughter, Brenda Teasley Jones (Mark) of Franklinton; stepdaughter, Barbara Upchurch (Danny) of Raleigh; sons, Danny Teasley (Sandra) of Henderson, Carl Teasley (Dorothy) of Franklinton and Johnnie Teasley of the home; sisters, Annie Teasley and Annie Price, both of Franklinton; brothers, James Teasley of Louisburg, Willie Teasley (Helen) of Youngsville, and Cassius Teasley of Franklinton; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Friday, July 24, from 2 to 3 p.m.
