LOUISBURG - Reginald "Dick" Perry Jones, 71, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 1, at 12 pm at Wood Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Randall Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones family cemetery.

He was the son of the late Weldon Ezra and Elsie Mae Burnette Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carey King Jones. He loved farming.

Surviving: daughters, Betty Jones, Lisa Perry, Regina Privette (Kenny), Rose Sweeney (Mike), Lois Nelms (L.C.); sons, Paul Jones (Candace), Jessie Jones (Leslie), Jerry Jones (Crystal), all of Louisburg; sisters, Margaret Nelms (Henry), Frances Jones and Linda Murphy (Jerry); brothers, Macon Jones (Evelyn), Weldon Jones, Jr. (Phyllis), Richard Jones (Betsy), Pete Jones, Rufus Jones, Scott Jones (Cindy) and John Thomas Jones; and 11 grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg.
