ZEBULON - Nellie Medlin Pearce, 87, died Saturday night, Oct. 3, 2015. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, Louisburg, with the Rev. Don Cashwell and Preacher Eddie Brackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunn Cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Albert Berry and Pearl King Medlin, and was the widow of Lawrence Gordon Pearce. She retired from Westinghouse with 31 years of service. She was a member of Wendell Baptist Church.

Surviving: daughter, Brenda Kay Pearce of Middlesex; brother, Lawrence Medlin of Raleigh; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
