KNIGHTDALE - Funeral services for Robert William "Tom" Kearney, 89, of Knightdale, formerly of Louisburg, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Louisburg, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Jean Kearney Harris of the home, Angela K. Rawls (Raymond) of Atlanta, Ga., and Geraldine Reynolds of Louisburg; sons, Robert A. Kearney, Johnnie Ray Kearney, James Larry Kearney (Linda) and Carlton Kearney (Debbie), all of Raleigh, and Willie Frank Kearney (Joyce) of Charlotte; sisters, Dorothy Davis of Petersburg, Va., and Pearl Johnson of Newark, N.J.; brother, Elmus Kearney of Newark, N.J.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 3 to 7 p.m.
