YOUNGSVILLE --Nellie Glenn Rice, 95, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Jan. 17, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Haley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Lucinda Mae Williams Glenn and Frank Thomas Glenn and was married to Tilman Bryant Rice, who preceded her in death.

Surviving: a daughter, Carolyn Pearce (Wilbur); sons, Steve Rice (Gayle) and Darrell Rice (Debbie), all of Youngsville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
