WILMINGTON, NC - Michael Gural, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice after living with heart disease.  Mr. Gural was born in Lopez, Penn., on November 27, 1924, to Mary and Theodore Gural.  He served in the U. S. Army for three years during World War II.

After living in northwestern New Jersey, he retired to Wilmington, NC. He was a fisherman, hunter and gardener.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Gural, and  his brothers, William Gural and Walter Gural. 

Surviving: three children;  Linda Gural and Michael Gural of Wilmington, NC, and Pat Gural Hinton (William) of Louisburg;  two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held in mid-May in German Valley Rural Cemetery in Long Valley, New Jersey. Donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice of Wilmington, NC.
