LOUISBURG--Martha Guinn Cureton, 92, passed away Sunday evening March 20, 2016 at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson. She was born in McDowell County, the daughter of the late Martha Elizabeth Berry Guinn and Tucker M. Guinn and was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Edward Cureton and a daughter; Patsy Ann Cureton.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday March 24 at the Wake Forest Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Faile officiating.

Mrs. Cureton is survived by her daughter, Linda G. Lyles and husband, Jimmy, of Louisburg; 3 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family at the home of Jaime Lyles.
