WASHINGTON, DC-Funeral services for Beatrice "Bea" Brown, 80, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Hollister, who died Saturday, April 2, 2016, will be held Thursday, April 7, at 12 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: sons, Herman Lee Brown (Rosalind) of Zebulon and Donte Brown (Beverly) of Washington, DC; sisters, Emma Robertson of Raleigh, Mittie "Bubba" Williams (Stanley) of Warrenton, Helen Taylor of Rocky Mount, and Louise Brown of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brothers, Ernest "Pete" Brown (Betty) of Boston, Mass., June Harris Brown (Dean) of Clayton and Benjamin Brown (Betty) of Rocky Mount; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, April 6, from 3 to 7 p.m.
