LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Percy "Moose" Allen Jr., 66, who died Friday, April 22, 2016, will be held Thursday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: son, Percell Richardson of Kittrell; mother, Beatrice Allen of the home; sisters, Dora "Gail" Allen, Barbara "Poochie" Neal (Joseph), Linda Allen, Gloria Crudup (John) and Wanda Allen, all of Henderson, Rachel Allen of Louisburg, Mary "Lucille" Allen of Boston, Mass., Emma Beverly Alston (Robert) of Hyattsville, Md., and Hattie Alston of Louisburg; brothers, James Allen (Juliet) of Kittrell, Otis Allen (Regina) of Wake Forest, Richard Allen of the home, Pernell Alston (Victoria) of Fayetteville, Eddie Alston (Brenda), Otha Lee Alston and Charles "Hump" Alston, all of Louisburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, April 27, from 3 to 7 p.m.
