BRONX, N.Y. - Funeral services for David Troy Long, 72, who died Thursday, April 21, 2016, will be held Monday, May 2, at 12 noon at Mitchell Baptist Church, Louisburg, with the Rev. Daniel Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Lalynda Michell Long of Bronx, N.Y.; son, Thurman Lamar Long of Bronx, N. Y.; sisters, Barbara Parker of Henderson, Debra Brodie (Calvin) of Louisburg and Daphine Long of Butner; brothers, Leslie Long (Linda) of Louisburg, Cleon Long (Vemonica) of Newport News, Va., and Allen Long of Raleigh; and six grandchildren.

All services will be held at the church.
