BRIDGEPORT, CT--Funeral services for Virginia Sadler, 81, of Bridgeport, Conn., formerly of Louisburg, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 1 p.m. at Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis family cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Willie Sadler of the home; daughters, Stella Williams of New Haven, Conn., Louise Little of Hampton, Va., Joann Johnson of Bowie, Md., Jackie Sadler of Bridgeport, Conn., and Valerie Johnson of New York; sons, Frederick Johnson of East Haven, Conn., Willie Sadler Jr. of Bridgeport, Conn, Kim Johnson of Hampton, Va., and Lester Johnson of Bridgeport, Conn.; sisters, Annie Bobbitt of Knightdale, Maxine Landa of Raleigh, and Dorothy Jordan of Bridgeport, Conn.; brothers, the Rev. Nathaniel Davis of Berea, N.C., the Rev. Robert Davis of Lumberton and Raymond Davis of Baton Rouge, La.; 17 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg on Saturday, April 7, from 12 to 1 p.m.
