LOUISBURG-- Gaynelle Young Allen, 83, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.

She was a daughter of the late Augustus Louis and Clydia Ella Wheeler Young. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Y. Reiter, Colleen Young and Flonnie Y. Eddins; brothers Albright Young, Claude Young, Douglas Young and J.D. Young.

Surviving: husband, Paul Allen; son Michael (Lisa) Allen; two grandsons, all of Louisburg; many nieces and nephews.
