ORANGE PARK, FLA.-- Funeral services for Johnny C. "Jay-Cee" Floyd Jr., 64, formerly of Louisburg, who died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, will be held Friday, June 10, at Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Castalia, with the Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Strickland family cemetery.

He is the son of the late Johnnie C. Floyd Sr. and Telie Strickland Floyd.

Surviving: wife, Claudette Floyd of the home; daughters, Pamela Floyd-Crudup (Pat) of Louisburg, Amy Floyd-Burt (Jonathan) of Raleigh; son, Nick Floyd of Nashville; stepdaughter, LaKecia Shurman (Leonard) of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepson Antonio Armstrong (Ebony) of Fairburn, Ga.; sister, Johnetta Floyd of Louisburg; brother, Eric Floyd of Raleigh; and nine grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
