LOUISBURG - Mattie Alston Livingstone, 86, of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Friday, June 24, 2016 at King County Hospital in Brooklyn. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, at 3 p.m. at Ambassadors For Christ Ministries, Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Cedar Street Cemetery, Louisburg.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Cora Alston of Louisburg and was born in Warrenton.

Surviving: sons, Michael Alston (Andria) of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Lemoris Alston (Cora) of Washington, D.C.; sister, Pamela Cheek of Hillsborough; brothers, Norman Alston and Jimmy Gerald Alston, both of Garner, and Bobby Alston of Louisburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Alston-Anderson Funeral Service in Louisburg today, Thursday, June 30, from 4 to 7 p.m.
