LOUISBURG - Johnny Clyde Shearon, 78, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Franklin Oaks. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Aubrey Florence officiating.

He was born to the late Hubert and Catherine Wester Shearon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kearney Lamm Shearon, and a grandson.

He pastored several churches for many years and was also a carpenter.

Surviving: son, Jay Shearon (Debbie); daughters, Hope Ramsey (James), Lisa Keener (Gary) and Tonya Schell; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Jay and Debbie Shearon, 78 Jim Lane, Louisburg, at all times.
