DURHAM - Funeral services for Shelton Maurice Jones, 64, who died Sunday, July 31, 2016, will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at Peace Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. William E. Daye officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Katie E. Jones of the home; daughters, Alyssa Jones of Durham and Constance Brewer (Matthew) of Chicago, Ill.; sons, Shelton M. Jones II and Justin K. Jones, both of Durham; sister, Edwina J. Middleton (William) of Waldorf, Md.; brothers, Van Roger Jones (Gloria) of Havre de Grace, Md. and David Whitaker.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Friday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
