Billie R. Gupton went to be with her God after a long battle with Alzheimers. She passed while in loving care in Miramar Beach, FL.

Billie was born 21 December 1933 to parents Wilbur and Inez (Huff) Hornsby of Wilmington, NC. She received her education there and Waycross, GA. Besides motherhood, her career included retail and accounting. As a military wife, she made extensive travels.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gail, of Doylestown, OH.

She is survived by her husband, Howard L. Gupton, formerly of Franklinton, Class of 1952, of San Antonio, TX; sons, David (Odalie) Wildes, Norman, OK; John Wildes, San Antonio, TX.; daughters, Susan (John) Ray, Freeport, FL and Cynthia (James) Berthaiume, Becida, MN; granddaughters, Morgan, Celeste, Nicole, Samantha, and Lisa. Also many great-grandchildren.

Her cremains were interred in Fairview Cemetery.
