LOUISBURG - Mildred Louise McLeod Fillingim, 93, of the Rocky Ford community, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016. Services will be held in Florida at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Saturday, Sept. 24. Burial will follow at Lathram Chapel Cemetery, Cantonment, Fla.

She was born in Mobile Alabama to the late Peter Archie and Julia Ella Allen McLeod, and was the widow of Stanley Fillingim. She worked with children as an educator and was the ladies Sunday School teacher at her church in Pensacola, Fla., for over 50 years.

Surviving: sons, David Fillingim, and Ken Fillingim (Steve); daughters, Lora Fillingim-Brown (Glenn) and Lisa Hurst (Lawrence); and one granddaughter.
