PASCHALL - Ivey A. Bolton, Jr., 80, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Duke Regional Hospital. Mr. Bolton was born in Warren County, NC to the late Ivey A. Bolton, Sr. and Ida King Bolton. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lois, Evelyn and Dorothy.

Ivey graduated from Atlantic Christian College with a degree in Education and he was a well known teacher and a coach that was known as "Coach Bolton." He was also a realtor in the Louisburg area and a well known farmer in both Franklin and Warren Counties.

The Rev. John Hiller will conduct funeral services at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 22nd, at the Jerusalem United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Al Bolton and wife, Lugene, and Bill Bolton and wife, Lisa, all of Louisburg; his siblings, Frances Stephenson of Poquoson, Va., Betty Jean Capps and husband, Clinton, of Arcola, Jeanette Kimball and Col. J. Allen Kimball retired, of Manson, Frank Bolton of Paschall and Franklin Bolton and wife, Kay, of Paschall; and his grandchildren, Casey A. Bolton and fiancée, Danielle, Crawford B. Bolton and wife, Audrey, Cooper C. Bolton, Tyler W. Bolton and fiancée, Emily, Whitney C. Bolton and Calen E. Bolton.

Mr. Bolton's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Robertson, Jr., Ashley White, Stuart White, Hal White, Jr., Glenn Riggan, Anthony Steed and Darnell Hargrove.

The family asks that any memorials be directed to the Jerusalem United Methodist Church, 850 Paschall Station Road, Warrenton, NC 27589.
