YOUNGSVILLE --Alma Williams Johnson Booth died at home on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Oct. 14, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery, Youngsville.

She was born in Franklin County to the late William N. (Couge) and Margaret Braswell Williams. She was also predeceased by a sister, Marie Williams Bonner, and a brother, William N. Williams Jr.

She retired as a tax technician with the NC Department of Revenue.

Surviving: husband, Willard E. (Bill) Booth Jr.; son; Andy Johnson; two grandchildren; their mother, Ann Johnson, sisters; Frances Williams Duke and Shelby Williams Senter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
