FRANKLINTON-- Donald Bruce Willis, 71, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 at his home. A memorial mass will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass.

He was a son of the late Henry and Florence T. Willis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Willis. He was a founding member of Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church and was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving: his wife, Carolyn L. Willis; daughters, Lisa Matzner of Bunn, Pamela (Will) Persinger of Wake Forest, Dawn (P-Nut) Shearin of Louisburg, Gail Willis of Franklinton, Korri (Ernest) Eason of Youngsville; brother, Henry (JoAnn) Willis of Loveland. Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
