FRANKLINTON --Hattie Bell Thomas, 96, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Wake Med in Raleigh. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 14, at Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremations in Franklinton, with the Rev. Samuel Tunstall officiating. Interment followed at Union Grove Baptist Church, Youngsville.

She was the daughter of the late Moses Thomas and Hattie Shaw Thomas. She attended the Franklin County Public School System.

Surviving: one brother, William (Bill) Thomas of Litchford Nursing Center of Raleigh; two nieces; two nephews, and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
