NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Betty Ruth "Bet" Dales, 85, who died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, at 12 noon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Entombment will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Surviving: daughters, Brenda Richardson of Rocky Mount, Regina Battle (James) of Nashville; sons, Bobby Earl Dales (Lorraine) of Rocky Mount, James Edward Dales of Nashville; sisters, Lillian Silver (Robert), Shirley Richardson (Roy); brothers, Vermus Coley (Carlean), Duray "Darl" Coley (Susie), all of Louisburg; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Wednesday from 3 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
