SPRING HOPE-- David Ray Carter, 64, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at his home. Services will be private.

He was born to Fannie Mae Jones Brock and the late James Roy Carter Sr. In addition to is father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Carter, and brothers Buck Carter and James Carter Jr.

Surviving: his mother, Fannie Mae Brock; sons, Zach and Kris Carter; sisters Faye (Arthur) Jones and Brenda Pulley; brother, Wayne Carter; one granddaughter; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
