FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Mary Anne Smith, 70, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, will be held Friday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at Allen Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Franklinton, with Minister Barbara Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Michelle Meadows of the home; son, Joe Frank Smith Jr. (Towanda) of Raleigh; sister, Etta Smith of Oxford; brothers, Edward Smith (Louise) of Franklinton, William Smith of the home, Curtis Smith (Pu-Cha) of Killeen, Tex., Larry Donnell Smith of Henderson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 12, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
