LOUISBURG - Mr. Ernestine Thomas Sr., 79, died Friday, May 11, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 13, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Louisburg. Interment was in the Thomas family cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Annie Thomas; daughters, Christine Williams of Garner, Deborah Aleffita of Bunn, Priscilla Thomas of Castalia, Lavonna Thomas and Terri Pulley of Louisburg; sons, the Rev. Bobby Thomas of Louisburg, Pernell Thomas and Ronnie Thomas of Castalia, and Ernestine Thomas Jr. of South Carolina; sisters, Grace Hernandez of Maryland, Margie Whitaker of Enfield, and Ruth Allen of Louisburg; brother, Herbert Thomas of Durham; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
