LOUISBURG - Louis Perry Moore, 86, died Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017 at his home. A memorial service was held Friday at Cypress Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Collie officiating.

He was born in Franklin County, son of the late Ewell Roger and Annie Lee Alford Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Maurice Moore.

Surviving: his daughters, Janie Moore of Louisburg and Julie Moore Ramirez of Bunn; and six grandchildren.
