LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Frances Burgess Alston, 85, who died Friday, April 7, 2017 will be held Wednesday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Micah Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Shirly A. Hicks and Annie A. Person (James), both of Louisburg, Anna A. Farmer (Robert) of Raleigh; sons, Glennwood Alston (Georgia) of Youngsville, Linwood T. Alston and Carl E. Alston (Shelia), both of Louisburg; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be today, Tuesday, April 11, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
