LOUISBURG - Eugene "Gene" Perry Davis, 84, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Wake Med. Services will be private.

He was a son of the late George W. and Mary Lou C. Davis. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford Davis and G.W. Davis. He served in the Army in the Korean War.

Surviving: his wife, Goldie B. Davis; daughter, Terry Boone of Henderson; son, Mike Davis (Kathy) of Rocky Mount; stepdaughters, Wendy Taylor (George), Cindy Wynne (Mike), Tonya Currin (Dwayne), all of Louisburg; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
