RALEIGH--Jennifer Goodwin Shearin, 51, of Raleigh departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Born on December 19, 1965 to the late Johnnie William and Doshia Marie Collins Goodwin. Jenny had a beautiful and gentle soul, always willing to lend a hand. She was genuine and her smile and laughter was very contagious.

The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 to 8:30 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Dave Bundy officiating. Burial will follow in White Level Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Kenneth T. Shearin; sons, William and Dustin Shearin; sisters, Jill Goodwin and Jackie Fuller (Stuart); and her mother-in-law, Shirley Shearin; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
